The Idea

In early 2019, Anna, founder of Fighter Shots, first discovered ginger drinks while overseas. She was amazed by how much better she felt and began a mission to create a great-tasting ginger shot in a bottle, making this powerful natural ingredient more accessible to everyone. After several months of intense research and development, Fighter Shots was born. Using Anna’s blend of only the finest natural ingredients, bottled in recyclable glass to help prevent plastic waste and protect product quality, these invigorating shots offer a convenient way to enjoy essential nutrients every day. Anna first introduced her ginger shots to local businesses, working with coffee shops in West London and offices to share her creation and test the response. Following the positive feedback and growing demand, she expanded distribution and began making Fighter Shots available to a wider audience through local retail partners.

From Lockdown Connection to Global Growth: The Fighter Shots Journey

When the world was upside down during coronavirus lockdowns and restrictions, Kavita Madhvani met Anna through their business school network. Kavita had always been passionate about entrepreneurship, health, and fitness—so when she discovered Fighter Shots, she saw it as the perfect opportunity to support a business she truly believed in.

Just one month after meeting Anna, Kavita officially became the co-founder of Fighter Shots. With Anna’s vision to expand into the UAE and Kavita already living in Dubai, she naturally took the lead on mapping out the brand’s Middle Eastern launch. By mid-August, the first shipment of Fighter Shots arrived in the UAE—landing all 415 boxes of ginger shots right in Kavita’s apartment. #startuplife

August was also a major milestone for Fighter Shots as the company secured £150K in funding via Crowdcube. The round closed 15 days ahead of schedule, attracted over 300 new investors, and ended up more than 2x overfunded.

In September 2020, our Ginger Shot earned a 1-Star Great Taste Award. The judges described it as:

“A perfect wake up call to give the body a boost or use as a more mellow medicinal approach with some added hot water. A really top little bottle that delivers!”

As Fighter Shots continued to grow, we welcomed Dina Bahrami to the team at the end of 2020.

Today, in 2025, Fighter Shots are proudly available in over 10 countries, including the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and the USA. Read the full story here.

Best Tasting Ginger Shots

I have tried almost all of the ginger shots on Amazon, and these, by far, are the best-tasting ginger shots I've found. We started having Ginger Shots after our trip to South Africa where a ginger shot was served with breakfast. I even wrote the company to express my concern about the long delay in its availability on Amazon. I am very pleased they are back and I will order them as long as they are available.

Excellent Ginger Shot…wonderful taste!

Reasonable price for what you’re getting….definitely well worth it! This is the best tasting ginger shot I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many. I immediately ordered a second batch. One major positive about these shots is the bottle is glass. Highly recommend. Update: I have one ginger shot a day and I feel so much better after 2 weeks of taking daily shots…less bloating and better digestion. Loyal customer!
